![]() ![]() The Dark Emblems will not move unless you go after them as well. Killing all the Dark Emblems means a ton of moving around the map, which we really don’t need to do and the damage we can do with 40%-60% of the Barrier gone is more than fine, especially when Sombron is so big, he’s within range of every unit to hit basically wherever. Our goal is to kill two or three of the Dark Emblems, but not all four at once. You’ll have to Engage everyone again if you did it the first time around, but that resets as well, so it’s no problem. ![]() The second act resets everything and shuffles all your units around as well with the exception of Alear, who stays front and center. As was stated for the previous battle, Bond Blast shaves off an entire life bar every time, so no matter whether you go to Sombron or he moves in, he can be taken care of very quickly. The first strategy is to get to Sombron’s human-ish form as quickly as you can and defeat it, which can be done in as little as two turns if you Engage+ with Alear and someone else. The order in which the Dark Emblems appear and their corresponding Emblems are as follows: Drop all four Dark Emblems summoned at a time to essentially get rid of the barrier until he summons a new wave and brings it back up. If you fight the Dark Emblems with the Emblems that correspond to them, they do a tremendous amount more damage. The only way to break this barrier is to defeat his reinforcements, the Dark Emblems, all of whom correspond to a final boss of the games our Emblems also come from. ![]() Similar to that mechanic, Sombron also erects a dark barrier around himself that reduces damage by a bunch. If this were Fire Emblem: Three Houses, he’d definitely have 8-12 shield spaces. Dragon Sombron has three Revival Beads and cannot move, however, he’s so massive in this small space, he doesn’t need to. Once you defeat this version of Sombron, he’ll transform into his dragon form and the battle will essentially reset. In this first section, all of the enemies have Legendary Weapons and Sombron is farthest away in the middle with two Revival Beads. This fight is in two parts, but they all take place on this same very small floating rock. So it should go without saying, but make sure you get everything out of the way you want to do - Paralogues, Supports, giving away your Bond Ring, all that jazz, anything to prepare you for this duel. ![]()
